Just putting a note here for anyone who happens to be looking to have a pony drawn, I take requests from people who ask nicely.
Seriously... Titles for these things are hard...

As you all are probably aware, I haven't done much art lately. I don't know why... But for some reason, I seem to have lost the knack of getting these things done. I tried redrawing my OC recently, but I couldn't get the mane to work, so I gave up and played Terraria instead. Hmm... Maybe I should build myself a silver tower...

Anyway... Impractical architecture aside... Art. It's not working. Plenty of ideas, just lack of being able to finalise the ideas on paper, metaphorically of course. I can get the basic shape of the ponies down because I usually just trace that because I can't do them from scratch yet, but everything else doesn't seem to want to work...

Maybe I should try a less complex style of manes, but I don't want to keep doing the same thing over and over... Which is the problem I was having with my OC, I wanted to draw him with his mane longer and more dishevelled, kind of to mirror what's happened to my own hair recently... Actually, just longer would work and I can claim he brushed it. Well, I seem to have just typed my way out of that specific problem. I should do this more often...

That issue aside... What do you all think I should do? I could just trace a whole bunch of ponies, but that doesn't particularly interest me, though it may instil within me the basic practical knowledge of manes again... If you people think I should, feel free to make suggestions.

Alternatively, I could try some writing in the meantime. At which point, I'd like some opinions... What do you all like more? Science fiction or fantasy, or do you want me to fuse them? Because I can so do that if I feel up to it.

Issues of art aside; I'm going to a wedding on Tuesday. My second eldest brother is getting married. That'll be fun. I shall wear a suit and not drink any alcohol.
It's about time they got married... They've been together for years...

On a less happy note, one of my cats will have to be put down shortly. The skin cancer that she's had for years has finally gotten her. It appears to get worse each day. She's lost most of her nose and it's spreading to the skin at the corners of her eyes.
The worst part is that in every other way she's fine despite being almost sixteen, just a little slower and less agile. It's been a long time coming, but that doesn't make it any easier...

Anyway... That's what's happening in the exciting world of Elemental.

P.S. I start too many paragraphs with anyway... It's a serious. problem.
